With the arrival of the good weather, the Arola restaurant is launching the terrace season and opening up its extensive outdoor spaces overlooking the sea. Thanks to its exceptional location, in the middle of the restaurant’s urban orchards and surrounded by more than 1,000 square metres of extensive gardens, it becomes a true urban oasis situated just metres away from the Mediterranean.

A pleasant dining terrace invites you to sample Sergi Arola’s cuisine, enjoying the Mediterranean sun with each bite. Among the items on offer is a varied range of signature tapas, prepared on the basis of seasonal flavours and produce, such as The Iberian Pork with Idiazabal cheese, green apple, pistachios and chilli, the Raviolis of oix tail, cooked in red wine and, of course, Arola’s famous Patatas Bravas (spicy potatoes). Likewise, the menu also includes a seductive offer of fish and shellfish, such as Fried Calamari, inspired by the classic Spanish sandwich; Ebro Delta oysters au naturel; and the Lobster Creamy Rice.

In addition to the outdoor dining area, Arola’s extensive chill-out terrace becomes the ideal place to share endless evenings overlooking the sea. From the comfortable lounge sofas, lovers of good weather can contemplate the spectacular panoramic views of the Mediterranean and cast their eye over the Barcelona seaboard.

The outdoor bar of the chill-out terrace is in the good hands of the barman Diego Baud, awarded the title of best bartender in Spain 2015 in the Campari Essence Century Cocktail Competition, who is in charge of providing a varied selection of cocktails and soft drinks to enjoy in the open air. At night, the atmosphere is accompanied by the coolest sounds, collected by Arola’s resident DJs. And during the summer months, the chill-out terrace becomes the setting for Arola Nights, with a schedule of live music every Thursday.
